  18. <p>     They say that forming a singing group was all their idea,
  19. but when the time came to find a manager, promoter and
  20. chauffeur, the Osmond Boys knew where to turn: their dad Alan,
  21. 41, who as a member of the original Osmonds stirred up his
  22. share of teenage passion. Strutting their stuff on a 70-city
  23. tour David, 11; Douglas, 12; Michael, 14; and Nathan, 13, are
  24. grateful to the New Kids on the Block for re-creating an eager
  25. market for bubble-gum pop. But, says toothy-smiled Douglas,
  26. "we're trying to set our own image."
